Questions and answers
Plain answers about swapping TRX and USDT on Tron with other networks. Read the risk notice before you send a deposit.
How a swap works
- Choose a direction, TRX or USDT on Tron, and the asset on the other network.
- Enter the amount you want to send, then review the estimate, the fees and the lowest rate you accept.
- Enter the address that receives the swap and a refund address on the network you send from.
- Get a one-time deposit address and send exactly the reviewed amount from your own wallet before the channel expires.
- Follow the status until the payout or refund arrives. Keep the swap link if you want to come back later.
Before you swap
The amount you receive is an estimate
Prices move while your deposit confirms and swaps, so you can receive more or less than the estimate. If the rate falls below the lowest rate you accepted, your deposit is refunded instead, minus network fees.
Fees
The estimate already includes the network, protocol and service fees, each shown in its own asset during review. Your wallet also charges a network fee to send the deposit, which is not part of the estimate.
Refunds have limits
Refunds go to the refund address you enter, on the network you send from, minus network fees. A deposit that is below the minimum, arrives after the channel expires or is sent on the wrong network may not be refunded.
Sending is final
Blockchain transfers cannot be reversed. Check the asset, the network and the address before you send. Nobody, including this site, can undo a transfer.
Send from your own wallet, not an exchange account
Exchanges can delay, batch or hold withdrawals and deduct fees, so your deposit may arrive late or short. A deposit that arrives after the channel expires may not be processed, and the funds can be lost. Use a wallet you control and can send from straight away, and never use an exchange deposit address as your refund address.
Who runs this site
quantron.one is an independent website. Swaps settle on the Chainflip network through a broker service, and this site never holds your funds or private keys. Read the terms and the risk notice before you swap.
All questions
What is quantron.one?
A website for moving TRX or USDT on the Tron network to or from assets on other blockchains. It shows you an estimate, gives you a one-time deposit address and follows the swap until it settles.
Do I need an account or to connect a wallet?
No. You do not sign in and you do not connect a wallet. You send the deposit yourself from a wallet you control.
Does the site hold my funds?
No. Your deposit goes to a deposit address on the Chainflip network, which swaps it and pays out to the address you entered. This site never holds funds or private keys.
Why is the amount I receive an estimate?
Prices and fees can change between the quote and the swap. During review you choose how far the rate may fall. If it falls further, the deposit is refunded instead of swapped, minus network fees.
What fees do I pay?
The estimate includes the network, protocol and service fees, each shown in its own asset during review. Your wallet charges a separate network fee to send the deposit.
Can I send the deposit from an exchange account?
Please do not. Exchanges often delay, batch or review withdrawals and deduct fees, so the deposit can arrive late or short. A deposit that arrives after the channel expires may not be processed, and the funds can be lost. Send from a wallet you control and can send from straight away. Your refund address must also be in a wallet you control, never an exchange deposit address.
How long does a deposit address work?
Each deposit address belongs to a channel that expires at a fixed block on the network you send from. The deposit screen shows that block and an approximate time. Send one deposit, well before it expires.
What if I send another asset or use another network?
Funds sent in another asset or on another network than the one shown may not arrive and may not be refundable. The deposit screen always names the asset and the network. Check both in your wallet before you send.
When do I get a refund?
If the swap cannot complete, for example because the rate falls below the lowest rate you accepted, the deposit is returned to your refund address, minus network fees. Some deposits cannot be refunded, such as amounts below the minimum or deposits that arrive after the channel expires.
How do I follow my swap?
When you get a deposit address, the site saves the swap on this device and gives you a swap link. Open the link at any time, also on another device, to see the status.
Who can see my swap link?
Anyone you share it with. The link shows the swap and its addresses but cannot move funds. Swaps and addresses are public on the blockchain anyway, so share the link only when you want someone to see the swap.
How long does a swap take?
Usually several minutes after your deposit confirms, depending on the networks involved. The review shows an estimated duration, and the status page shows each stage as it happens.
What does the site store about me?
Only what is needed, on your own device: your saved swaps, your theme choice, your language if you choose one and the addresses you used, so they can be suggested again (you can forget each one with the trash icon next to it). There is no account, no analytics and no tracking. The privacy notice has the details.
Who runs quantron.one?
An independent operator. quantron.one is not affiliated with or endorsed by TRON DAO, the TRON Foundation or Chainflip.
How do I get help?
